Halloween is coming up! I love Halloween it is awesome! I Love the dressing up and the candy, but most of all, I like having an excuse to invite friends over to party and watch intense, but not too scary movies!
We will laugh and eat junk food and take time to talk. We will tell scary stories and then after dark, the boys will go home while the girls sleepover!
I don’t know what I will dress up as, but I will make something up. What will you be?

Well, I see so many girls wonder, what’s hot and what’s not? I just want everybody to know, there is no HOT there is no NOT. We are all beautiful. We should not look up to those girls on TV, or even the guys. We are beautiful just the way we were born. When a girl says she wants to be thinner, or she thinks she needs makeup to be pretty, it’s not true. We are all the way we are, and the only way to change that is to constantly hurt ourselves by being anorexic, plastic surgery, or sitting on the couch bagging on ourselves. The only way to change ourselves is to change the way we look at ourselves. WE have to make a difference in ourselves by changing our inner world, so our outer world can change too. Girls, you are all BEAUTIFUL just the way you are. Trying to be like those women on TV is seriously a waste of time, and it's NEVER going to happen! To be beautiful, BE YOURSELF, because you are who you are, why change to be accepted? The only acceptance that matters is YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF YOURSELF. If a guy doesn’t like you for your body type, or your natural face, then he is not worth having. We are all born the way we are, why change our natural being just so we can make others happy? We have to make ourselves happy; you have to accept the way you are the way you were made. It’s a big problem that everybody has, and it sucks to see girls hate themselves. Those girls on TV are anorexic, and they have so many health problems. They don’t have good self-esteem, and they don’t have self-confidence, because they have to constantly change themselves to look good to society. They don’t have what we think they have. It’s NOT HOT. What’s hot is just to BE YOU and love WHO YOU ARE MADE TO BE. Nobody is perfect, and if we all try getting there, IT JUST WON’T HAPPEN AND YOU WILL MISS OUT ON YOUR WHOLE LIFE. Wiz Khalifa is about to come out with his new album and by the songs that have been released so far it sounds pretty good. His last three albums have been really big; he has popular songs like Young Wild and Free, Work Hard Play Hard, and Let it Go. He has had a lot of success in his career and he is getting better with every new song. His wife also just had a baby and so he has been having a lot of responsibility.

This is the End was a hilarious movie. At first when I watched it I was like what the heck, this is just stupid, but it was so stupid it was funny. I think it was pretty funny to have the movie like it is the end of the world. They have a lot of actors from a lot of comedy movies. They have the actors from Pineapple Express, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. The main characters names are Seth Rogen James Franco, Jay Baruche, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson and many more. It is awesome. I suggest that you watch this movie.

This book was about a girl named Hope. She is the only person in town who believes her brother, Jeremy, is not the murderer of his baseball coach. She will stop at nothing to prove his innocence. She has difficulty doing so, because her brother cannot talk. Also, because her mother, Rita, has an alcohol addiction. This addiction makes her angry and abusive. Is he the killer? Is it someone else? Did Jeremy really murder his own baseball coach? You will need to read the book to find out. Sports for ARTEC news I don’t like many sports. I like to watch football. My favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys.

Upcoming Events Baylee An upcoming event for me is when I graduate Artec next month I plan on getting my first tattoo. I am excited to get my tattoo, because I know that it will represent my life in a way which I can only understand. I feel like if someone has a passion for a tattoo they want, then they should go for it and that is why I’m going to get my tattoo and I will be very proud to show it off and have it with me for the rest of my life. I strongly feel like people who have tattoos are usually very stereotyped by this generation or by the older generations and it's wrong. Everyone has something they have which represents themselves in different ways. For example, your grandma might like to crotchet or your grandpa might like to play golf. Just because it’s not permanently on your skin does not mean it doesn’t have the same representation as something that is permanently on your skin. I know for a fact that people with tattoos get them because it’s a way to express who they are. It’s almost like a lifestyle. I don’t mean that every tattoo has meaning, because if that’s what you think I’m getting at then you’re wrong. I mean that people get tattoo’s that often represent who they are, what they feel, and the things they like. Overall, I feel like tattoos are something I plan on getting to help show people who I am.

Hey ya’ll I’m here to tell you about the GED. I’m studying to take the test and I’m here to tell you it’s really not that bad. I dropped out of high school at 9th grade and so far it’s been easy. The essay part is really short, it only has to be about 250 words, which seems like a lot, but it’s only three full paragraphs. If you’re like me, a senior with 4 credits, I would highly suggest taking it. by Krissy
Favorite sports team

My favorite sports team is John Hopkins (The Blue Jays) lacrosse team. I have been playing lacrosse since I was about 5 years old and have loved the sport ever since. I started watching lacrosse when my friend’s older brother started playing high school lacrosse and invited us to come to his games and practice with him. Soon after that I started to watch collage games and immediately the Blue Jays became my favorite team. They are strong on both sides of the field and play fair. They have had many of their players go on to the MML (Major League Lacrosse) and also play for the All American team as well as team USA for the world championships. They are by far in my option the best college lacrosse team.

Name: The Walking dead
The Walking Dead is the best zombie show that is on AMC. I started to watch it and I could not stop. I am so happy that the show comes back on the 13 of October. My whole family even watches it because it is so good. I would give this show 5 stars.
This show is about how a zombie apocalypse starts and this two different groups of people fight and they try to kill each other. Rick is one of the guys and he is trying to kill the governor while the governor is trying to kill rick.
